Angels We Have Heard On High!

Oh my, how fast the Christmas season is closing in! I have my parade of snowmen out on the stairwell ledge.  They aptly suit the day as we are in a snowstorm at the moment.  We have a real tree every year taken from our own property.  It won't go up until a few days before Christmas day.  Digging through the trims I came across a few angles.  All but one of these angels were gifts from former students. Little treasures of days gone by.  They remind me as I look at them of the glory of God and how they announced our Saviour's birth. So it is with a joyful heart that I place these tiny gifts on my tree every year.

                                         Little pin-up angel

                                                        Larger one

                                             Teddy bear angel

These are glass angels. They are trimmed with gold but they reflected so much that it wouldn't show. It was hard to get a good picture.  I set them on my Stereo and you can see part of my kitchen in the background so I used a cube effect from a photo editor to try to diminish the background.

This last one is very dear to me.  We gave it to my grandmother 50 years ago this Christmas.  It winds up and plays "Silent Night".  It still plays perfectly!

God bless you all and may you have a wonderful Christmas with family and friends.
